Miesha Theresa Tate ( born on 18 August 1986) is an American professional mixed martial artist. She currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in which she was the previous UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Tate was previously a part of Strikeforce, where she was an Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was also vice-president of ONE Championship. She currently is ranked in the top 10 of UFC women's bantamweight list at the time of her entry on October 3 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was the daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. She was born in Tacoma, Washington. She was a teen during her childhood and frequently played on playgrounds with the other boys.
